Fix infrared reflections in a night camera view Prepared 22 October 2026 by NightMarshal If a view is clear by day but hazy at night, ask the installer to check infrared reflections, nearby surfaces and the camera cover. Compare conditions before changing detection settings. Instructions 1. Record when the haze appears. 2. Arrange authorized cleaning or installer inspection. 3. Retest the monitored route after dark. Open the blank CSV in a spreadsheet app; add one row per item. Use Pending for unknowns and N/A only where a field truly does not apply. Review the separate example CSV; all example values are fictional. Keep completed sheets private. Do not include passwords, access codes, personal contacts, footage links or camera stream URLs. No input is collected by these downloads. Fields View Night symptom Observed condition Installer action Retest result Fictional example Fictional fault: a newly stacked pale panel sits close to the camera. The installer checks its effect, the panel is safely relocated and the route is tested again. Limits Follow the specific camera’s maintenance instructions. This does not diagnose all night image faults.
