Remote video monitoring for construction sites

Construction site security monitoring watches the camera views around your materials, tools and site access outside working hours. Because sites change week to week, NightMarshal revisits camera views, rules and response contacts as the project develops.

What NightMarshal watches at construction sites

Views that matter

  • Site gates and hoarding
  • Material and tool storage
  • Plant and machinery
  • Site office and welfare units

Typical rules

  • Anyone on site outside permitted working hours
  • Vehicles entering after the site closes
  • Movement around stored materials at night

Response options

  • Call the site manager or key holder
  • Speaker warning where supported
  • Contact a confirmed local response partner

Good to know

  • Temporary sites need power and a reliable connection for each camera
  • Coverage must be reviewed as the site layout changes

Rules, contacts and permitted actions are agreed with you during setup. Speaker warnings and local response depend on supported equipment and confirmed coverage in your area.

Illustrative response scenario

The perimeter changes with the build.

A subcontractor enters on a weekend. The current crew authorization and working hours determine whether the site manager needs to be contacted.

Actions depend on the agreed site plan.

Questions from contractor owners and site security leads

Do we need to install new cameras on site?

Not always. We first check whether existing cameras or rented camera towers are compatible. Equipment and installation are quoted separately when they are needed.

What happens when the project hands over?

Confirm the final monitoring date, remove obsolete crew permissions and agree transfer of camera access and incident records to the responsible owner.

When should construction camera rules be reviewed?

Review them when hoarding moves, scaffolding blocks a view, materials relocate or a new project phase starts. Confirm coverage again before relying on the changed layout.

Can temporary power and mobile internet support monitoring?

They may, after testing at the actual camera location. Battery duration, upload reliability and the fallback for a disconnected camera belong in the site plan.
